Before going to Fatty’s for dinner, I tried it for drinks with a group of friends. The atmosphere inside is fun and very laid-back, the music is phenomenal (80’s and 90’s mix) and the crowd, friendly. They have an interesting beer selection, which consists mostly of imports and microbrews. When coming here for dinner, I experienced the charming outdoor garden, where the music was awesome, the waitstaff attentive and the food out-of-this-world. In addition to really having the Latin thing down pat, Fatty's makes the best sweet potato fries in town and the crab cakes sure are worth raving about. Some of my tips when dining here:
1. Order some delicious sides like tostones or sweet potato fries (both are unmatched in flavor and easy on the wallet). I’d suggest ordering only one side for two people—the portions are large.
2. I recommend a burrito, the chuletas (pork chops) or a Fatty's sandwich for dinner (the cubano is my fave). All will leave you smiling and with a nice full tummy.
3. Don’t order sangria--they’re disappointing and plastic tasting. Do get a margarita on the rocks (they use real lime juice, none of that nasty mix stuff).
4. Make sure to bring cash with you, credit cards are not accepted.

Fatty's Cafe sounds like a place I would like to try.
