Party at Kafene

Kafene, the casual eatery and wine bar on Hoyt Avenue South is having an opening celebration tomorrow and Saturday. The party will begin at 9p and there will be complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres until 11p.

I haven't tried it yet but will surely join the party tomorrow. From what I hear from my Joey in Astoria colleagues, the food is incredible, the service is impeccable and the location is ideal. It's right across from Astoria Park so if you decide to go there during the day, you can take a nice walk in the park to digest your lunch. Check it out and maybe I'll catch ya there tomorrow.
