While a lot of restaurants will be closed on Christmas Eve day (and night), Vesta will be open and celebrating with their customary Feast of the Seven Fishes meal. A $40 per person prix-fixe will get you 5 hefty courses including dessert. Below is the menu with all the specifics - keep in mind that Vesta uses locally sourced, organic ingredients that not only taste amazing, they're environmentally friendly too.

Baked Little Neck Clams - With parsley, seasoned breadcrumbs and frantoia olive oil
Braised Octopus Sicilian - With green olives and roasted fennel
Stuffed Calamari - With cous-cous, fresh herbs and tomato
3rd Course:
Salt Cod Agnolotti - With charred tomato, gaeta olive and caper berry
4th Course:
Pan-fried Monkfish and Whiting - With broccoli, cauliflower and potato
5th Course:
Baby Jesus Cake or Chocolate Panettone Bread Pudding
And if you'd like to pair wine with this generous meal, they offer it for $20 more - pretty sweet!

ReplyDeleteI went to this and it was amazing!! The food was delish and the wine pairing was wonderful.They even gave us little boxes of biscotti to take home! Definitely a new holiday tradition for us.
