While lunching at Cranky's Cafe last weekend, I noticed a new restaurant that's about to open just a block away. It's called Madera and the good word is that it'll be a Cuban steakhouse. How cool...I can't wait! Combining Latin flavors with steak is definitely up my alley and I think it'll be a nice addition to the Vernon Blvd restaurant line-up. Their website is up, but not much information is posted. You can however, preview Madera's pretty interior design here, and follow future progress. I'll keep you posted of course, but in the meantime, check out the pics for yourself.

Food is amazing!!! The place is clean and beautifully decorated. You honestly forget where you are while your dining there. I truly enjoyed my expierience there and can't wait to go back! Much luck to you Madera.
