5 Great Food Deals to Get You Through the Week

Since we're officially in holiday season and most of us are spending lots of dough, I thought it'd be helpful to provide you with some weeknight restaurant specials to help you save those much-needed dollars.  These are some of my favorite deals in the nabe.  Some of them you may have heard of already but others could be new discoveries to share with friends, family and colleagues. 718 Restaurant - 718 is one of my go-tos in Astoria for modern French food.  My all-time favorite item on the menu is a classic Tarte Flambee (thin, crunchy dough topped with caramelized onions and smoky bacon). Ornella - This delicious pasta-haven is not only personal, the food is just a little bit different than what you're used to when you think of Italian.
