A still-new establishment, The Astor Room is in the not-yet-solidified experimentation phase of their business, where they're always trying something new with food and entertainment. I like these fluid activities a lot because they show the willingness to take risks to please their customers. And even though my food experience there wasn't the best, I'm absolutely willing to give it another shot, especially when I found out about their Tiki Lounge Tuesdays.
Involving both entertainment (in the form of a live tiki trio band) as well as tiki-themed cocktails and drinks, Tuesdays will be The Astor Room's designated Tiki nights and they start in two weeks.
