Taqueria El Jardin Event at Studio Square

This year has certainly been lively for Studio Square, as far as events go.  Every time I visit (and I was actually there last night for my friend Moses' big going away party. Sniff), I find out about another cool event they're putting together.  In June, it was their Summer Spit BBQ, featuring Chef David Burke, and this month is another guest chef event with Toloache Chef, Julian Medina.  

The theme of this shin dig is Taqueria El Jardin, which as you can probably infer, celebrates delicious Mexican cuisine with a special menu, prepared by Chef Medina, along with drink pairings.  Similarly to the BBQ event, the Taqueria celebration will go pretty much the whole day, from 12 p.m. - 6 p.m. so you have plenty of time to get your grub and drink on.  Here's what you can expect:

Sunday, September 18th from 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Menu:
Guacamole/Corn - Traditional guacamole, chips and roasted chipotle salsa, corn on the cob with chipotle mayo & queso fresco

Brick Oven Quesadillas - Trufus y Huitlacoche, camaron, costilla

Tacos - Pastor, carne asada, pescado, pollo

 Dessert - Churros. Yum!

Drinks - All day tastings of Patron margaritas & Dos Equis Cervesa
